Believing in What You Do

October 30th, 2009 rjmcleod 1 comment

Whether you’re a janitor, a lawyer or a doctor, you won’t truly love what you do unless you believe in what you do.

Why is that?

Well because if you don’t believe in what you’re doing and you don’t love what you’re doing then you’re cheating yourself. There is NO reason why you shouldn’t be doing what you love. It’s 2009. It’s time to stop making excuses. It’s time to rediscover your passion and commit yourself to do that.

What’s stopping you?

Do What You Want

Lately my topics of choice are about having a passion, doing what you love and not settling. And I will touch on the second topic again here. What is stopping you from doing what you love?1183198_51986515

1. Fear of failing?

2. Pressure from friends/family?

3. Lack of finances?

4. *insert your own excuse here*

When it comes down to it, we only have one life to live (that we know 0f). So why not make the best of it? And that means doing the things which bring you the most joy. Be as happy as you want to be. Be around the people who make you the most happy. Don’t feel pressured to be a certain way or do certain things just because others see bigger and better things for you. Listen to them if they matter but in the end do what you really want to do. It sounds very simple and it is. Don’t let others tell you it’s not. And enjoy the ride.
