OK. I have discovered your blog, and after reading many of your daily adventures and deep, impactful thoughts - I will have to apologize now for not taking the time to actually get to know you personally. For one, you are an incredible writer with words and knowledge I wish I had. Two, I have learned that you are exactly who you say you are, and you DO live by your heart. Everything you said is true in my life as well - and I wish I had come up with all this cool stuff to say to people = because we are listening. I have always admired your ahtleticism, creativity, and knowledge of the cyber world (is that even correct? ha.. internet world) anyhow. I wish you the very best in everything you do - and don't stop writing... you have a gift, one of many.
Jenna out ~ (ok I copied.. but it is sooo cute.)

I think there are plenty of people who want to make changes, who know what's standing in their way, they're just not sure how to go about making those changes. I was one of those people once upon a time, I knew I wasn't living my life passionately, and had no idea how to get to the point where I was doing just that.

So my question is - how? I'm not quite sure even today how I fell into doing everything that I love doing... except that I stopped accepting mediocre as 'good enough'. In work, in life, in friendships, etc. Good enough was simply not good enough. Through some trial and error and sticking to that standard over the course of the last 5 years, my life has moved beyond good enough and reached that level I always envied in others who had reached it.

How did you find your way to passion?

Athletes have pushed boundaries so far that I think that, in some events, we are pushing the limits of what our bodies are physically capable of. No matter how hard a human trains, there's always a limit. But, I guess we haven't quite found those limits yet.

Sounds like you're in for a wicked trip home. It can be very easy to lose track of those that care about us. Enjoy the time and the people. That's what really matters at the end of the day anyway :).

Cheers

Trying to start up a conversation on social media can be frustrating. If you walk into a party where you don't know anyone, at least you can look around and see people who seem to share your values, age, lifestyle. There are lots of visual clues. Online those clues are subtle, and hard to detect. You mentioned Google Alerts, and that's a great free starting place. It does more than just find people who mention your keywords, it helps you find the clusters of people who are generating buzz that you need to get involved with. But to really take advantage of Google Alerts, you need some technical background. I've put together a free Google Alerts tutorial that can help with that:
